About Me

Fiona Brenninkmejer

Working with clients from elite athletes to those with long-term health challenges, Fiona is uniquely qualified to help each individual find the nutritional and functional balance that will enable them reach their peak performance in life and sport.

Fiona has spent her life travelling the world and studying. She had always been interested in sports, and qualified as a personal trainer in her 30s, running group exercise classes wherever she lived, including in Dubai in the late 1990’s.

She found that clients were eager for information about nutrition, but had no reliable resources. Finding herself in a hiatus in the UK with her children at school, in 2003 Fiona undertook a BSc in Nutritional Therapy so that she could offer qualified advice.

This started a journey of learning and Fiona completed an MSc in Sports Nutrition in 2008, later adding coaching qualifications (Master NLP Practitioner) to help clients make appropriate behaviour changes to attain their personal health and sporting goals.

Further training has included the elusive certification with the Institute of Functional Medicine, further coaching skills in Emotional Intelligence with Six Seconds and advanced sports Nutrition training and certification with The Centre for Integrated Sports Nutrition.

In 2019 Fiona challenged herself to “become as fit as possible” and started triathlon training in the community where she lives. Her first sprint distance race in March 2019 in Abu Dhabi found her on the podium. Since then, she has competed at Ironman 70.3 and qualified for two World Championships.
